About this listen
Dear Mr. Brisken,
How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your smug, sexy millionaire face. I hate your cocky, skirt-chasing, playboy ways. I hate working as your secretary - but, I love the pay. It almost makes dealing with you worth it.
I hate how my friends call you a BILF, when really BILK (Boss I'd Like to Kill) is more appropriate.
I hate that I need you to be my date for my best friend's wedding because my ex-boyfriend, the King of Heartbreakers, and his new busty blonde girlfriend will be in attendance.
But mostly, I hate how once the charade is over, I might not hate you at all...it was so much easier when you were the Boss I Loved To Hate.
Contains mature themes.

3 stars
I usually love a good enemies-to-lovers story and a fake relationship element but despite the fantastic vocal performances by Sarah Puckett and Alex Kydd, this just didn't hit the mark for me.
Seriously, someone needs to put Mary up for adoption, that kid and everyone's obsession over her, got on my nerves.
It goes a bit like this, boss man is a bit of a player, the secretary calls him the BILK- boss she would love to K.ll. She needs a date to a wedding (to save face and avoid ex-boyf drama) and hes the helpless uncle having a crisis over his growing nieces coming of age milestone needing a babysitter. The solution? Blackmail the desperate boss into being her date. Of course now the dude realizes that she's "not like other women" and wants more.
Express train to cheesy intalove with Sonia and Brad.
It's a good stocking filler or palette cleanser but overall not very memorable.

Great listen, but will be returning
I love the story, although at times it seemed like he was way more in love than she was. The male readers voice for me was unfortunately uncomfortable to listen to but I push through. ...like I said great story but will be returning as my experience on a whole wasn't the best.

Brilliant
The book is excellent and funny. keeps you listening. Has a good story as well. Not the usual rubbish books that can be churned out

Good read
The story was great. Loved the hate to love romance. Found the male voice hard to listen too. Not the voice you vision for the character. Sounds like rocky balboa

male narrator not good
the female narrator is good but the male one sounds a little creepy and drunk, he speaks to slowly and says things oddly.

Sweet story
I just love Charles's kids, Sarah and Mary. Little Mary is super cute. Sarah is mature and caring. The chemistry between Brad and Sonia is sizzling hot. I love the character growth Brad went through.

Mediocre
Predictable storyline. Performance wooden and unimaginative reading with no warmth in the voices. Only made it to the end because a friend had read it and I wanted to be sure I could honestly tell her what I thought. Not worth the listen.

OK read
I only had a few problems with this book. I would have liked a little more show then tell, when it came to why Sonia hated Brad so much. I think that's one of the main reasons I found her attitude towards Brad annoying and I couldn't connect with Sonia very much.
