Summary
After being gone for months, there's nothing like being home for Christmas. Although Brindle has no family there to welcome her back and the little town has grown since she left, it's still home to her and exactly where she wants to be in these final days.
With a little help from a generous stranger full of the Christmas spirit, the holiday is sure to be perfect for Brindle. Full of love and memories, both old and new.
She just prays she's able to enjoy it before she runs out of time and breath.

Unexpected ending and mixed feelings
Honestly, I was having a very separated feelings on how to review this book.
On one side we have a nice, short and emotional Christmas story. Throughout the entire book I was preparing myself for the inevitable ending knowing Brindle is going to die and it kind of disabled me to really appreciate all the emotions author wasted to transfer. As the book went further, I was slowly accepting it, but reading (listening) the final chapter I have to say I was a little disapointed by the turnover an the way book has been finished.
I know that "a happy ending" is something most writers aim to, but for this book to me it fell a little out of the order.
Overall, it was a nice short read and I will probably checkout more work by this author.

Amazing
This book was really loving and understanding on how it portrayed On Brindle and her having pulmonary disease.
I have seen a lot of books based on someone with a disability much because of no one notices it as much and I truly loved this book
