Summary

Sometimes, dreams are enough to get you through...and other times, you just have to live your dreams.

Small-town girl Hazel Lynn Morgan has survived the dull farm life in Ohio by letting her imagination soar. Reading has been her savior, and yet, escaping the quiet life as a mail order bride could be just the excitement she’s looking for.

But the Texan cattle rancher she’s intended for has a secret that could ruin everything and a friend who could be their making...or tear them apart forever. Hazel has been closing her eyes and dreaming her whole life, but sometimes, it’s only by closing your eyes that you’re truly able to see.

With Christmas approaching and her wedding on the horizon, Hazel is busy with plans for the future. Nonetheless, she can’t resist helping Heath’s best friend find a love of his own, especially since he’s already in love...with her. John’s destined for a wild ride across Texas and a harrowing gunfight, but could it be that this is what he needs to learn what he truly wants from life? Or, is he already too late?

Hazel and Heath are preparing for the arrival of their first child, and John and Becky are in the throes of newly married bliss. There’s a new search for happiness in Texas, though, as Massachusetts bride Louise arrives to marry the pastor. The educated young lady is thrilled to meet the man of her dreams, but she soon learns he’s not the one she’s come to marry. Her betrothed is over twice her age, and his intentions are far from honorable. Louise will need all her strength and resilience if she’s to find the happiness she longs for.

In Brides of the West Trilogy, you’ll be enchanted by three enthralling stories of love, friendship, and resilience.

Sweet Historical Romance

Ready for Love, book 2
I read book one a long time ago, so I was grateful book two highlighted the key parts that were important to understanding book two.
I enjoyed this story a lot.
The narrator seemed a bit choppy in her cadence, but the voices were good.

Blinded by Love, book 1
I actually read this like 5 years ago.  Since I just listened to book two yesterday, I thought I'd "reread" this one, when I found this trilogy in audio.
I appreciate the narration better in this book than book two.  I don't know if this is a new recording or not, but I'm skipping to book three, so I won't know that from experience.
I love so many things about this series!  Hazel, as young as she is, has an amazing heart and is definitely being led by the Spirit in her love and acceptance of Heath and her new role in the family.  My favorite scenes are her first meeting of Heath, and her visit to the jail!

Searching for Love, book 3
I'm so glad the audiobook trilogy has the separate books identifiable when you go under "chapters".  I was able to skip from the end of book 1 to the beginning of book 3, (since I just listened to book 2 as a single audiobook yesterday).  Thank you!  It was much appreciated!
Maybe the narrator is getting more comfortable to me, because I could find any fault with book 3's narration.  My phone kept pausing the book while I was listening, but I don't think it's the book that's causing that.
I was so worried for both the delivery and for the wedding, but all ends happily as a romance should!
I wish I could find the author on Facebook so I could post my reviews there as well, but alas, it's too common of a name! She's also not on Bookbub.
