Summary

In this bundle, we take a deep dive into the lives, successes, and failures of some of the most successful (and wealthiest) men on the planet.

What makes them different? What is it about them that makes them super-achievers? You will discover all of that and more.

What is it about Jeff Bezos that allows him to change the way the entire world shops (and become the richest man on the planet in doing so)?

How does Elon Musk go from working in the fires of a toxic furnace to leading the charge in space travel?

How did Steve Jobs create and lead what would later become the world’s first trillion company?

Did Bill Gates (the richest man on Earth for nearly two decades) really steal technology?

How did Jack Ma, who was denied a job working at Kentucky Fried Chicken (and was the only one of 24 applicants not to get hired), start the company that would later set the record for the largest IPO in the history of the New York Stock Exchange?

We will even show you how Richard Branson might not be as rich as people think. He is, in fact, richer.

All of these questions are answered. All of these myths are debunked, or truths verified.

Don’t wait any longer! Download now to discover more about some of the most successful businessmen and world-changing innovators this world has ever seen.

A must listen

Author did a very good job. I could listen chapters and remember the news or past articles in the same order. I devoured the book at home and in my non-Tesla car. I hope my kid will listen it soon. I am impressed by what Elon did and does. I hope and think he will succede. There are also funny moments and the narator has a great voice too which is very helpful. Well, there are also sad moments. Lots of insight from a psychologic perspective.

Most authentic Gates biography till date

I have listen more than a couple of book on Gates - 'Hard Drive' and 'Overdrive' to name some of them. This was the most well researched and authentic portrayal of the man which not only corrects some wrong anecdotes/urban legends about him but also introduces some new anecdotes which have verified instead of just being passed on as they sound interesting. Gives the in-depth story on how Microsoft was established and the early days.

It was OK

70% or so of this book is about Bezos. It's interesting but at the same time it doesn't really offer anything besides the opinion of the writer, which at times seems uninformed or uneducated on the matter that the opinion is given. That's fine I guess, we don't know everything but still I feel like this book is missing a lot. In this book you'll here a lot about how each person grew up being 'special' and everyone around them felt they had something special that got them to where they were. It kind of paints a weird picture in my opinion.

Good collection of biographies but poor recording

The biographies were interesting and inspiring (although some of the information may not be totally relevant). The recording was of very poor quality (like muffled voice) and very hard to listen to, especially when outdoors.

Was an okay listen

Was an okay listen that was interesting at times, but not best for me. I was intrigued on how Jack went about growing Alibaba, but there seemed be a lot going on at one time and it seemed be hard to listen at times.

Fascinating man, fascinating history

Being someone who has been involved with computers and the internet for more than 25 years and a Apple fangirl for the past 6 years, I considered this a must listen . This is not only the biography of a brilliant, driven, colorful man, it chronicles the history of personal computing and the major players that shaped our experiences today into tomorrow.

I bought this on recommendation

I bought this on recommendation, the publisher of This Is True. It's well-researched and well-written, and the author has gone to great lengths to keep his integrity intact as he writes about one of today's Giants of Industry.
