Omg
Omg hooked from page one.. Ruby is an amazing MC, it’s so fast paced and the story is unique. Loved the way the charters have come on so much in just one book. I can’t wait for more 💕

I was immediately hooked
I found this book after a suggestion from Amazon on my next read. I then spent all my waking moments reading the full series because I couldn't get enough. This book introduces Ruby who grew up blind and after an incident 9 months ago her eyesight is cured. Her personality really comes through and honestly I think one of the first books I'd read where the main character has a hobby outside of school. You meet Sean who is mysterious and they have some witty banter but not everything is as it seems and you don't know why. Ruby then meets Eric who throws a spanner in the works and turns Ruby's already changing world again upside down. I found the ending very satisfying and felt that the story was very character driven. The series also doubles back and builds upon what happens here in this first book. If you pick up this book you won't be disappointed, the world Amber Lynn Natusch builds is impressive and detailed. I found the voice acting good and enjoyed the pacing. I had read the series first time round without the audiobook and I found that Tavia Gilbert was able to match my expectations of how Ruby sounded in my mind.
