About this listen

Instead of snoring in their space pod like the rest of her family, Astra is wide awake. With her robot friend, Pilbeam, she goes exploring and soon finds out the ship is in deep trouble. It's been knocked off course and invaded by a gang of Poglites, an alien salvage crew searching for spoonage (they just love collecting spoons)!

But even the Poglites need Astra's help when they discover something far more sinister lurking in the canteen!

Cakes in Space, maybe it’s the best book I ever read! I like the cakes. Some of them are cute. I liked Nameless Horror because his tentacles are quite cool, and at the end Nova Mundi looks very very similar to a normal Earth. This is good, because Astra has to live there. Jihu, Korea. 9.

The best book I ever read!

Leo aged 6 really enjoyed it but he didn’t like the evil cakes! He listened to it all over a few nights.
