Interesting story
This is an interesting true story. Sometimes things are hard to prove without an eye witness or before DNA, step in Trueman Simmons. We need detectives like him that are not willing to give up at the first hurdle. It's the family I identify with having been in a similar situation myself. I can fully understand the hatred for the defence lawyers.

Phew!
A very long accountof quite an interesting criminal case. I almost gave up on a number of occasions as there was so much detail that wasn't always necessary. The one thing that stood out for me, was how complicated real life cases, as opposed to fictional stories, can be. As with many books I've listened to on Audible, taking in all the various characters can be difficult as it is not easy to skip back to remind oneself of who is who. This was particularly exacerbated by the author's propensity to alternate between the character's first and last names, even within the same sentence! This was unnecessary and very annoying. The narrator also failed to differentiate between the voices of the different characters. Gosh, this review is almost as long as the book itself - sorry!

Had to give up
Sorry but this was sooo boring, repetitive and long winded .
I tried to stick it out but the narrator was so dull and emotionally devoid .
