About this listen
Ghost stories abound in the lowcountry, and Detective Andy Winslow is about to find himself in the center of one. Andy Winslow grew up hearing campfire tales of the Scarecrow; a monster that stalked the lowcountry's rural areas, killing people with a vengeance. Now, with farmers and their families around Charleston being murdered in record numbers, people start talking about the Scarecrow again.
Andy doesn't believe in ghost stories, though. He knows that the sort of monster behind this is of the decidedly human variety, and it's his job to find them. But when someone very close to Andy gets targeted by the killer, Andy just might find that those stories just might be the only way to save them...and himself. For fans of Wayne Stinnett, Dawn Lee McKenna, and Matt Lincoln, Check out book three in the exhilarating Lowcountry Crimes series!

Amazing narration from Eric Fox, who brings out the mystery and drama.
Ghost stories of live Scarecrows is one to listen to in the day light. That is where Detective Andy Winslow finds himself in the centre . Andy has grown up listening to stories of Scarecrow stories around the campfire . A Scarecrow killed people in the low country. It now seems the stories are coming true. As farmers and their families are being murdered , could it be the stories coming true.
Andy knows its a real person and the hunt for the killer starts. As the stories grows the more you root for the characters and find yourself holding on to the end. A great thriller with characters you will want to know.
