Comprehensive guide for seniors

I like the step-by-step approach of the book, which makes it easy for seniors to follow. I liked the discussion on the preparation, which included different chairs, other tools, and even clothing. What a bonus to have a PDF file so that I can look at the texts and also the many pictures. Especially for the different poses, it is necessary for me to look at the pictures to get an idea of how to do it. There is also a 7-day program with very clear instructions that are easy to follow. I have read a number of chair yoga books, and this one is the most user-friendly, with lots of pictures and clear instructions. I like to listen to this audiobook while looking at pictures for the first time to learn the pose. When I get the hang of it, I am then able to follow the exercise just by listening. This works very well for me.

Helpful and Easy to Follow

A phenomenal 7-Day routine for senior health!

I think the problem with a lot of books like this is that they only apply to people of a certain fitness level. "Chair Yoga for Seniors 101" by Graceful Living Guides avoids this problem elegantly. It has a really nice program that goes by the acronym YOGASAN and encompasses both physical yoga exercises and a bunch of other topics to boost health. I think the instructions are very well done, and the narration is perfect for a relaxing chair-yoga routine/class. I think listeners will see great benefits to their flexibility, but they will also learn a lot about proper breathing, mindfulness, and the importance of a healthy diet. Most importantly, they will definitely maintain or improve their balance and ability to navigate their environment safely. All in all, an excellent purchase for any senior!

Such a helpful guide!

This book has way more than just great chair yoga exercises! It tells you what exercises to avoid, it has tips for mindfulness, and I loved the 7 day program. There's so much value in this book, highly recommend it!
