Full of inspiring stories
The stories John and Rob share about their own successes around the world, and inspirational true stories of others who saw an issue and worked tirelessly to make it better.
There are some concrete steps to start your journey, but they're scattered across the whole (lengthy) book, making them hard to grasp when not listening it all in one go and taking notes (who would?). The accompanying PDF is good for nothing, having maybe 2 pages with a graph on them I don't even remember being mentioned (their website might have more info).
However, the book is quite repetitive, with the words "Transformation Table" and the address of their website mentioned in every turn. It starts to feel like they're trying to sell you something or involve you in a pyramid scheme or a cult, although it doesn't seem to be the case.
They really put on emphasis on the TT concept, and I don't say it's not powerful - good values is the foundation of everything good, as they state in the book - but I don't think solving societal problems is as simple as sitting around a table and talking. The book doesn't clearly tell, what's after that .
Overall I enjoyed this book and it inspired me to do good in the world. But I'm still lost, on how exactly, and I think the book could've been half its length.
