Feast of fae queen coming into her own.
Feast of fae queen coming into her own.
This is a treat for the reader as you get three books in one volume, and in the right order. Please listen in the order they are presented here as the third title reveals several of the outcomes from the previous books. We learn how a 16 year old high school girl grieving for her mother becomes not only bonded to the dragon monarch, but becomes the high queen of the fae realm. Along the way she meets the high prince who she beat to bonding the dragon and took his anticipated place in becoming the monarch. Family relationships and grief for mothers are shared concerns, although for different reasons. The world-building throughout is superb and immersive with moral choices being presented to the main characters, rewarding compassion rather than ambition. Dragons abound on both sides and serious, deadly adversaries are present. Plenty of action scenes are well described. I liked the character development of all the main characters and the problem solving displayed by the main protagonists. There is romance thrown into the narrative mix so several will know the eventual outcome although this is quite chaste, given the main female's age.
I felt the narrator let the side down by saying wrong words and not pronouncing others corredctly. She did convey emotion and was able to differentiate between male, female and dragons.

With a girl touch
I liked this story, with a girl touch!, amusing and fantastic. I loved the narration and it is a great deal to have the first three books of the series in one audiobook.

Love and care
I am impressed by the care that is given to every living being and how the series presents this. The problems are solved with empathy and not over the top of the others. The author highlights the good, this style makes reading fun and relaxing.
The audio book reflects the different scenes of the book, even if she reads quite slowly.
