Summary

Kerri Manning returns home with only one semester of college left. She's in pain and trying to figure out what to do with a diagnosis that will change her future. It's hard to dream of happiness, but the new guy in town manages to make her laugh. Can she take a chance he'll stick around?

Eric Hunt is an up-and-coming sculptor who has grown tired of his fake friends in New York City. He finds himself in the small town of Eureka Springs looking for the passion he used to have for his art. Could Kerri be the inspiration he needs?

Great stuff

Eric meets Kerry. The first main characters in this series. Lovely slow burn but also love at first sight. Eric knows what he wants. Really enjoyable.

I want to move to Eureka Springs

Book: Chocolate Kisses
Author: River Ford
Narrator(s): Kathleen Miranti

Did the Audiobook meet your expectations?
River Ford has created a fantastic story and the characters are believable. The heroine Kerri suffers from a chronic illness and you as the readers get a glimpse into how she perceives her new “normal”

How did the story make you feel?
This story really hit home for me as I too suffer from the chronic illness (although I was diagnosed at a much younger age) and many of her fears where ones I can relate closely to myself.

Did the narrator make it easy to follow the story? Did you find the narrator’s voice fitting for the main protagonists(s)?
I think Kathleen Miranti has done a great job with her performance. The characters and storyline flows nicely and is easy to follow along with.

Do you recommend this audiobook and will you pick up more?
This is actually the second book from the series that I have listened to (I read them in the wrong order oops). I really love River Fords writing style and ability to tell a story that is realistic. I will be looking for the other books from the series.

I was gifted this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
