About this listen
On the cusp of his 25th birthday, Bo Sanford grows frustrated with his directionless life. Slaving away at his father's construction company all week and partying every weekend leaves him little time for introspection, but he knows it's time for a change. When his best friend Mac drags him to a college party, Bo catches sight of a girl. But not just any girl - the girl of his dreams: a delicate blonde-haired beauty with a pink scarf and a smile that promises warmth and humor. There's just one problem: She isn't a girl.
Even after Bo discovers the truth, he keeps seeing Erick, and the choice to follow his heart despite the obstacles has profound repercussions on not only his sense of self, but his relationship with his family and even his job. Being with Erick makes him all the more determined to be his own man and claw his way out from under his father's thumb.
But Erick faces choices of his own: the choice to get involved with someone redefining his sexuality, the choice to trust again, and even the choice to believe love can last beyond the temporary.

I enjoyed listening to Jonathan Waters, a very good narrator.
A emotional plot, we have controlling abuse. The characters have great strength . Bo accepts his bisexuality and Erik is the first man he is attracted to.

Choices
It's the first time listening to this author and the second time listening to the narrator. They both did a great job. Eric and Bo are likeable characters and I enjoyed the story between the two ot them. Their relationship is interesting.
The narration was absolutely brilliant. Jonathan Waters expressed the emotions very well and it was a pleasure to listen to him. I keep an eye to the narrator!

Healing and Discovery
This book is more about each man’s journey in self discovery / reflection and healing and very little to do with sex.
Bo is stuck in life and manages to make several changes that finally move him to a place of happiness.
Eric is able to heal from a traumatic event and learn to trust again.
No later what you fee about the life style, this book will have you reflect on what drives you to make the decisions you make in your like.
Definitely a good read.

Choices and Changes
I really enjoyed this book. Bo spots an attractive person at a party. He doesn't realize that that person was a man at first. Instead of freaking out completely, he agrees to talk to Eric. The start hanging out more frequently and Bo begins to actually get feelings for Eric. This was a slow and sweet book. Johanna Waters did a great job narrating.
