Wonderful characters great story line . Quinn and her guys are great and I loved the cameo from Sorsha and her guys I’m hoping we get to meet them again.

My mind not expecting how raunchy this world could become.

The story flows at a good pace too and touches another series based in this world but not such you need to have read that series first but you will want to.

Chosen by Villains by Eva Chase is an urban fantasy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Amber Lee Connors and Aiden Snow. This is the first book in The Heart of a Monster series.

I love Eva's books! I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I am loving the chemistry between Quinn, Torrent, Lance, and Crag. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Courted by Beasts.

Aiden and Amber did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you're looking for an urban fantasy romances, why choose romances, or romantic suspense.

Eva Chase the author does it again. This book 1 in a new series. . This is a reverse harem story .
Heroine is Quinn. Her heros her mates , the men who will stay with her are Torrent, Lance and Crag .
The story has suspense, mystery and twists and turns.

Quin is very anxious about her health, she had surgery on her heart and she’s thinking that the end is near . The boys Torrent, Lance and Crag have dedicated their life to look after her and stay forever
Can’t wait for book 2

I give this book five stars as it’s part of the Flirting with Monters universe and I love that series. My only issue is with the female narrator Amber Lee Connors well not her but the editing misses for instance in a lot of the chapters there are repeats of half a sentence or two words in a new paragraph also the very long pauses between paragraphs or sentences it was very off putting as she has more chapters than Aiden Snow.
Aiden’s chapters were flawless and flowed well. Not sure if Eva Chase listens to her audiobooks or she has someone else to listen to them before they are released so not sure how these mistakes were missed. All her other audiobooks are fine and never had issues with them until this one.

I enjoyed but….

Hot, hot, and many hot moments! I went straight from the "Flirting with Monsters" series to this "The Heart of a monster" - chosen by villains. Book 1 has more smutty bits than books 1 to 2 of FWM. And it's fits perfectly with the story.
Again, the world building and characters are strong. And we get a drop-in from our RH in the FWM series. I do wish there had been more. The drop was too short. Hopefully, there is more to come.

While this plot is in the shadowblood universe. It's, of course, not as intense as FWM. Our heroine is brave life and the time she has left. While FWM heroine is a badass in action and already knows of the shadow world.

These books make me crave my own monster or 4!
