Christmas may be the season of goodwill and festive cheer, but not for the poor of 1950s Liverpool. And for St Angelus Hospital in Lovely Lane, it is frantically busy. There are the old, the dying, the children and the emergencies.

This is an enjoyable book but I found the narrator's voice very irritating and false, this spoilt the enjoyment

Amazing, gripping and full of emotion. Really enjoyed this from beginning to end. Loved the way the Four streets story mixed with the Angels of lovely lane to make Christmas angels. Really hope there is more to come. But as for this story, I highly recommend it.

loved all of these books. This one was enjoyable but not as much as the others. found the cross over of characters from the 4 streets a bit odd considering the ending bit was interesting all the same. Hoping for another book in the series.
