This was my first audiobook and I enjoyed the story and found the storyteller engaging and very pleasing to listen to. She really managed to bring the characters to life and all the characters had their own unique voice. I especially liked how she was able to match the tension of the action in the story with her tone and there were some creepy moments. I was glad not to be listening whilst out in the dark! The story itself takes a bit of a turn in the middle but it was an interesting idea and I was intrigued enough to want to find out how it ended.
