Not what I expected

It's actually
No Holly for Miss Quinn and Christmas Mouse..
Had I realised I wouldn't have used up a credit .. I've read both.
But well read by Carol Boyd.

Middle of the Road.

Dear readers, as a past avid reader of Miss Read's novels and after having loved most of them in succession, this was my first audio version. Iyou, the dear reader are looking for a christmas story of warmth, of joviality and that seems to fill you with the spirit of christmas yonder, this may not be the book for you. Not have I been engrossed, nor was I equally pulled gently into the story. More so I found my mind wandering occasionally, and although not altogether bored, there was certainly a lack of charisma for me. it is for this reasosn that I give this book no more than 3 stars. While it is a happy christmas story, it is in my opinion nothing special. It is such as shame as having previously read others as I have stated above, I expected much more. Truly - Indie.
