About this listen
Includes mouth-watering recipes! Curl up with Rosie, her friends and her family as they prepare for a very special Christmas...
Rosie Hopkins is looking forward to Christmas in the little Derbyshire village of Lipton, buried under a thick blanket of snow. Her sweetshop is festooned with striped candy canes, large tempting piles of Turkish Delight, crinkling selection boxes and happy, sticky children. She's going to be spending it with her boyfriend, Stephen, and her family, flying in from Australia. She can't wait. But when a tragedy strikes at the heart of their little community, all of Rosie's plans for the future seem to be blown apart. Can she build a life in Lipton? And is what's best for the sweetshop also what's best for Rosie?
Treat yourself and your sweet-toothed friends to Jenny Colgan's heart-warming new novel. The irresistibly delicious recipes are guaranteed to get you into the festive spirit and will warm up your Christmas celebrations.

Loved it , Jenny is right , you don't have to have read the first book to enjoy this one but I loved the follow through and knowing the characters already made it even better

Feel good book with loveable characters!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This book was a distraction to my own busy lifestyle I got lost in the loveable characters lives and really enjoyed the story line with the developing relationships! It's light heart and such a good easy and lovely listen.
What did you like best about this story?
The character of Rosie, I have loved her since the first book.
What about Lucy Price-Lewis’s performance did you like?
I liked how she portrayed the different characters voices and accents, sounding professional and guenuine.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Everything was finally going well for Rosie....or so she thought.
Any additional comments?
Fun booked, much enjoyed and will be reading/listening to more or Jenny colgan.

Lovely Christmas Story
Would you consider the audio edition of Christmas at Rosie Hopkins' Sweetshop to be better than the print version?
Can't say as I've only listened to it, not read it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Christmas at Rosie Hopkins' Sweetshop?
Lilian's lost love reappearing.
Which character – as performed by Lucy Price-Lewis – was your favourite?
She was great with all the English characters, but her Australian accents grated. I suppose people may have spoken like that in the 1930s, but no one speaks like that now.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
As above: the rediscovery of Lilian's lost love.
Any additional comments?
Book is beautifully written, and a nice story for the lead up to Christmas

Loved it! Ideal reading for this time of year.
Had already read the first Rosie story and this was just at the right time. Finished it on New year's day. Lovely story with believable characters. I did a lot of Christmas cooking and cleaning whilst listening to this.

Fantastic follow up
If enjoyed the first book and then saw there was this follow up. The same characters and some new ones. All revolve around Lipton and the sweet shop. Thoroughly enjoyed and enjoying Jenny Colgans recipes. And her other books
