First book I've listened to by this author. Really great. Kept me hooked. I agree about Sam's voice but otherwise I thought the narrator was excellent. Couldn't guess the ending, which is always good.

Loved the book as always with Karen Rose but the narrator made Sam sound like a petulant teenager.

love Karen Rose and i enjoyed the story but the choice of narrator wasn’t the best - i genuinely debated giving up after the first couple of chapters, i even tried speeding up the narration to see if it improved (it didn’t!).

Overall the story was good and i liked the character development, be interested to see where it leads - but please choose a different narrator!
