BECAME WEIRD HALF WAY THROUGH, SPOILING THE WHOLE STORY..

This story started out great, was exciting & the characters easy to like. Unfortunately, half way through, the story became increasingly weird, as though I was listening to a completely different book. I kept rewinding to work out what was happening, but eventually I just lost interest. I did listen all the way to the end, & eventhough the story picked up a tad, it wasn’t worth it for the bizarre chunk in the middle.

never quite goes anywhere

pretty drab story, mild suspense but all in all a disappointing outcome. the two readers don't make sense together
