Thomas Paine's pamphlet beautifully written, and equally well performed by Matthew Lloyd Davies, speaks to the Twenty-First century with almost the. same immediacy as it did the Eighteenth. Paine's political analysis is still relevant to the political systems of today, many of them unfit for purpose. I recommend this book to anyone with an interest in good writing or in politics. It is only a couple of hours long and the time passed quickly.
