Summary

What drives the Man Without Fear? Matt Murdock was raised by a single father, an over-the-hill prizefighter with one last chance to make good - a chance that cost him his life. Taunted and tormented by other children, Matt's life was irrevocably altered after he was blinded by radioactive materials while saving the life of an old man. The payoff? An unbreakable will and a keen intelligence, helping focus the super-senses with which he was blessed during the accident. His story is one of love, pain, disappointment, and strength. In this brand-new adaptation, witness the strange machinations behind the life of one of Marvel's most beloved heroes.

Daredevil

Brilliant story brought to life by a brilliant cast. Captures the darkness of Miller's work beautifully...highly recommended. Can listen over and over again.

Let the devil out

Was surprised by how good this turned out to be.
The six chapters pretty much tell Matt Murdock's origin from being a reckless kid, to the accident that blinded him, to his father's murder, to Stick, college, Elektra. Alongside Wilson "Kingpin" Fisk's rise to power in the criminal underworld ultimately colliding in Murdock's first outing as the Man Without Fear.
The story is well paced, the narrator is easy to understand, the few actors are great in their roles and the music and sound design help translate the action to audio.
Admittedly the chapters set around Matt's childhood can drag, but if you can get to the second half it picks up.

This book needs to be read by any daredevil fan graphic audio truly lives up to the same movie in your mind the sound effects and ability to put you into the place in your mind it’s always on point any of the Marvel books with full voice cost I highly recommend brilliant interpretation of the story Frank Miller who wrote the dark Knight returns Batman and other comic books his writing is as ever sensational

Do not confuse this with a full cast audio drama

downloaded this thinking that it was an audio drama but it's an audiobook so be warned as rather disappointing
