Love the book from start to finish. Love the the characters, and notators, the story line has a lot of possibility for further books.

What can I say except, Christine has gone & done it again.
Gawd how I felt for Emeline, with what she had gone through, with evil of vampires. It Just sends more than a shiver down your spine.
But the joy's she get keeping an eye on the children she had saved from the vampires.
But then comes the strength of rugged, centuries old Carpathian Dragomir, that is there for ALL OF HER. loved it

AN EMOTIONAL ONE

A great story.
One filled with angst, fear and emotions.
Dragomir has had enough of life, but refuses to end it by going into the dawn, so he fights with honour, he fights to meet his life mate (although he’s sure it will be in the afterlife)
And as a master vampire tries to kill everyone in the compound that he resides in, Dragomir will fight till the bitter end.
Never realising the woman he has seen in the compound is actually his life mate !!! Her voice brings colour and emotions back to him in a wild rush .....
Emaline has been captured by a master vampire in a previous book, she’d been abused by the vampire, infused with parasites that were slowly driving her mad.
The story goes on to unite Dragomir and Emaline and their fight to rid her of the parasites and to be free of the master vampire.
Another great story. Long may this series continue.

was only worth reading the last few chapters *sigh* yes I was disappointed iv been waiting for this for a year. I think it should of had maybe another life mate pair in it. I found myself bored very quickly. it had the potential to be so much more.
I recommend it just so that you form your own opinion. I plan on listening again in a few months once the hype has died down to see if it's changed my mind (doubtfull)

I have read this book and loved it so got it on audible as i do with my favourite books. i found the narration didn't allow me to fully get lost in the story (as i do when i read) because it was all done with an American accent. many of the characters where ancient European and behond so the narration didn't fit. narration in dark slayer and others where far superior.
