A woman cursed by a priest stands alone on a clifftop trying to summon up the courage to jump. Her brother stands accused of murder and rebellion against the state. A very well written story that will keep you engaged from beginning to end, I've learnt a great deal about the time period from this book, it's been very well researched and the characters are brought to life with great effect.

The narrator is exceptional (one of the best I've heard on Audible) and does a fantastic job with all the characters throughout the book.

I highly recommend this audiobook.
