My Life with Murderers is Wilson's account of his career, from being the youngest prison governor in the UK to gaining his professorship at Birmingham City University. His book is a study of the dark capabilities of human nature.

In this interview, we spoke about the wide continuum of people that make up ‘murderers’, the decline of the prison systems and what sort of conversations he’s had with serial killers.

I like listening to Prof David Wilson both on audio and TV. Like many others I have been fascinated by crime and the psychology of the perpetrators and I like Prof Wilson's views, opinions and the way he shares this with listeners. His voice is very nice for narrating books and audio. I'll be purchasing his audio books next

I thoroughly enjoyed this audible session, I always enjoy watching and listening to Professor David Wilson as I love his work and knowledge in criminology and he is my favourite criminologist. I am understanding the world of criminology and learning as well as studying it more. watching crime programmes where Professor David Wilson has participated and reading his books has helped a lot and I am grateful and thank Mr Wilson for this.

I just love the way Professor Wilson changes the narrative of the whole true crime subject and he keeps it real. He is spot on in saying that issues like misogyny etc needs addressed.
