Great story telling
These short stories suit the style of Simon Kernick. High octane and pacy to start with, it ie easy to maintain the momentum through a short story. The narration is excellent with Paul Thornley doing his usual great job - incidentally he narrates documentaries on the telly, you keep expect him to say 'Tina Boyd reached for her block as...'.
Bea Holland narrates the more female heavy tales well and bring a great contrast to Paul.
I loved the first couple of stories and can't rate this book high enough. There are also some references to old friends/foes so these stories could have been written for a longer version but were cut short.
