Summary
In this pulse-pounding thriller that will keep you guessing to the very last end, homicide detective Nick Teffinger witnesses a murder from a place he shouldn’t be and soon finds himself pulled into the edgy world of an exotic young lawyer who is too mysterious to trust and too hypnotic to resist. The Nick Teffinger thrillers are all self-contained within their own four corners and can be listened to in any order. For over a decade, R.J. Jagger’s thrillers have been widely acclaimed by the most established and reputable book review organizations in the publishing industry, including Library Journal, Kirkus Reviews, Booklist, and Foreword Reviews.
Critic reviews
"As engaging as the debut [Witness Chase], this exciting blend of police procedural and legal thriller recalls the early works of Scott Turow and Lisa Scottoline." (Library Journal)
"Verdict: The pacing is relentless in this debut, a hard-boiled novel with a shocking ending. The supershort chapters will please those who enjoy a James Patterson-style page-turner" (Library Journal)
"[C]lever and engrossing mystery tale involving gorgeous women, lustful men and scintillating suspense." (Foreword Magazine)

Can’t get into it
Format: audiobook
Narrator: Edgar A Hernandez
I just can’t get into this story, I’m currently half way through and couldn’t tell you what’s happening, I don’t know if it’s the story itself or the narrator but it’s just not holding my attention.
I’ll try this book again and and update this review if I feel any different about it.
