Summary

What you thought you knew about vampires and werewolves is wrong...so very, very, wrong.

A thousand years of effort to keep the Unknown World hidden is unraveling and the Patriarch is tired. He needs to find someone to take over.

He finds Bethany Anne.

Unknown, untested and untried, she sets out to accomplish the impossible while forging a new future. One that no one knew was in danger.

And she does it with an attitude that will make you stand up and cheer!

They say a dress can make a women, but in this case, the dress is Death, and Death Becomes Her very well indeed.

Please note, there is flagrantly foul language in these novels. The main character does not have a problem with cussing, just uninspired cussing.

Excellent start to the series.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review

Absolutely loved listening to this Bethany Anne’s sense of humour had me laughing and I can’t wait to listen to further books in the series. Emily Beresford’s narration was really good and she voiced all the characters perfectly.

More give me more

If you could sum up Death Becomes Her in three words, what would they be?

Vampires,werewolves,aliens

What was one of the most memorable moments of Death Becomes Her?

Bethany Anne’s potty mouth

What about Emily Beresford’s performance did you like?

Marvelously eloquent, and it’s obvious she is enjoying narrating the book as you are listening to it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely a eat yourself stupid book

Any additional comments?

Mr Anderle has created a world where everything we thought we knew about we’re and vamps is so much BS and put his own stamp on the genre. Well worth reading and makes listening to the audiobook almost a guilty pleasure.

Fantastic start

This is a great start to the Kurtherian gambit Series. In this book we learn about some of the main characters and how they become involved in the unknown world.
We see how these new characters begin to work as a team and how this might carry on into the next book.
I’m looking forward to when they go and stir things up in the next book with Bethany Anne wanting to change the rules governing the unknown world.

Great Story Great Performance

I have actually purchased every spoken book in this series currently available and very unusually for me will buy both the book and spoken book for these. The books are to me a great fantasy but a believable one even the swearing is creative. I love the characters and their interaction as well as hating it when one happens to die. This like real life i not too common and is believable. So great story as far as I am concerned but the performance Emily gives really stands out. There are other audio performers on other series in the Kurtherian universe and to be honest none of them that I have listened to is anything other than good mainly very good but Emily to me is great she brings the stories to life in a way that I just enjoy. There is a warmth and an rapport with each and every character which makes like going to a great movie it just absorb me and I live the story with the characters.
There are a lot of books so far and they are all the same.

Outstanding series!

Absolutely fantastic series, best I’ve read in a long time. Lots of action, great characters, outstanding detail. I’m already on book 10, not even taking time to review because I’ve been buying the next book- yes it’s that good. Thank you

Fun read.

This has shades of all the vampire books i have read and although i see the influences they are weaved together beautifully to create a new world that works and has kept me smiling and laughing out loud. I am so going to be reading more.

Just wow

Not my normal type of book to pick up but I was intrigued. What can I say, the narrator brought the characters to life in an amazing way. The imagination of the author is fantastic. I laughed out loud getting a few strange looks in the waiting room, and was asked what book I was so thoroughly enjoying. Hopefully the lady that asked enjoys it as much as I did.
