About this listen
The heart-pounding, irresistibly clever new instalment in the bestselling Norfolk Murders series!
'The Norfolk series is Ross Greenwood’s crowning achievement - characters to root for, an intricate web of suspense, all set against a stunning backdrop. I can’t wait for more!' Wes Markin
When a teenage couple go missing, the police aren’t too concerned. Young lovers often make bad choices.
Then a body is found near a Suffolk lighthouse, and shortly after, two girls seem to vanish into thin air. Freshly promoted DI Ashley Knight knows she has a battle on her hands to keep the public safe, and she’s going to need expert help.
Ashley turns to her old protégé, Hector Fade, seconded from The Met to analyse an avalanche of data. But neither Hector nor Ashley are prepared for the chilling connection his work uncovers to the body by the lighthouse.
Ashley, Hector and the team must break down a fiendishly complicated network of people smugglers, but another victim is found at Horsey Mere and their worst suspicions are realised. A member of the gang has gone rogue and is taking lives for fun. When Hector uncovers a pattern in the choice of victim, time is against the detectives to stop the murderer killing again.
Ross Greenwood is back with a brand new, heart-pounding case for DI Ashley Knight, perfect for fans of Mark Billingham, Ian Rankin and Peter James.

Brilliant listen as always
Another pacy book from Ross Greenwood with the added bonus of Barton making an appearance. Highly recommend.

Another Excellent addition to this series ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Once again, Ross Greenwood has written a brilliant novel which keeps you engaged from start to finish.
This series is every bit as excellent as his DI Barton series, both amazingly narrated by David Thorpe.
I don't want to give any spoilers, so I won't say any more, other than that I have once again been on the edge of my seat the whole way through this book. 👏👏👏

A bit dull. Shame because I loved these books.
Found it to be a lot of talking over very little matter. Lots of names so I easily kept forgetting who was who after a short break from listening. Didn’t really amount to much in the end either. I really enjoyed the other books so I’m a little sad. It was marvellous that another well known Detective appeared though!
Performance was awesome.

brilliant!
I was super excited for the release of this book and I certainly wasn't disappointed. I finished the book in less than 48hrs struggling to put it down. It was good to revisit the series characters with some old ones popping back up such as Geoffrey & Hector and the introduction of new character Seb, I hope he sticks around for a bit. My only disappointment was when I'd finished knowing I was going to have to wait another 3 or 4 months until the next one.
Being local to the area the book is based around it was great to hear of some friends that were featured in the book and the local establishments I frequent myself.
I really like David Thorpe as a narrator his range of voices and accents are very good.
I can't rate this writer & narrator combo highly enough.

Bit bonkers but great
Ok so it’s easy to think that the storyline is a bit bonkers at times but the characters and the narration are fab and when the book finished I realised I’d really enjoyed it. So much so, I finished listening in under 3 days! Waited ages for this and I’m excited for the next one.
