Summary
The call came on the morning of July 13, 2011, from the historic Spreckels Mansion, a lavish beachfront property in Coronado, California, owned by pharmaceutical tycoon and multimillionaire Jonah Shacknai. When authorities arrived, they found the naked body of Jonah's girlfriend, Rebecca Zahau gagged, her ankles tied, and her wrists bound behind her. Jonah's brother, Adam, claimed to have found Rebecca hanging by a rope from the second-floor balcony. On a bedroom door in black paint were the cryptic words: She Saved Him Can You Save Her.

Empathetically written about such horrid events
Thank you Caitlin Rother for showing sense whilst writing about this case.
You've avoided the nasty sensationalism that often goes with this story.
I have to say I did have to pause ans shed a few tears.

Intriguing but repetitive
A fascinating but ultimately unresolved mystery which had me changing my mind back and forth about what could have happened. it could have been shorter and less repetitive. in the end, it felt like an unsatisfactory conclusion. I didn't want to hear from the author about how he great she is and the awards she's won.
