Like many others I thought Emperor’s Throne was the final book so I was so happy when I heard we had more coming.
This book finds Zam , Lila and Maks having won the battle finding themselves left with no magic and a curse from a long time ago hanging over them. Loved this book and Lauren’s narration is perfect and I am looking forward to the next book.

I really didn’t think this series could get any better but each instalment has taken me on an epic journey with Zam, Mak and Lila, watching them overcome obstacle over obstacle.

Such amazing characters and great storytelling and Ms Mayer excels as always. Can’t fault the narration of Lauren Fortgang, whose voice is just so easy and entertaining to listen to. Loved it.

Zam has been on a real rollercoaster and this book shows her embarking on her next chapter. It is great to see how far she has come and she has really started to own who she is. looking forward to seeing what else is in store, especially more arse kicking! 😄

Here we are on book 7 of this fantastic series.
I love listening to Lauren Fortgang reading/acting out Shannon Mayers books, they make a great team to produce a fantastic audio book, and oh my, what an ending to this book ....... I’m really looking forward to reading/listening to the next book in the series.
Although I was offered a free copy of Den of Thieves for an honest review of the book, I would like to point out that I myself bought the audible books numbers 1 through to 6 of this series, I was just lucky enough to be offered a free copy of book 7 before I bought it.

The gang is all back together again and I'm so freaking thrilled!! I thought the last book would be the end of the series, but then Shannon said their story isn't quite done and she was not kidding! The book also talks a little bit about Balder's history and and you love him even more for it, along with his family. Narrator did a fantastic job with this book.
