David McCallum is great, but even he...

can't make this story better.
The story is set in Germany, but the author clearly hasn't done his homework on the German policing and military system. Together with at times implausible or incoherent plot twists and a weak main character this leads to a rather gruesome listen. I finished the story only because I like to listen to David McCallum's voice.
