Die Autorin:
Kerstin Gier hat als mehr oder weniger arbeitslose Diplompädagogin 1995 mit dem Schreiben von Frauenromanen begonnen. Mit Erfolg: Ihr Erstling "Männer und andere Katastrophen" wurde mit Heike Makatsch in der Hauptrolle verfilmt, und auch die nachfolgenden Romane erfreuen sich großer Beliebtheit. "Das unmoralische Sonderangebot" wurde mit der "DeLiA" für den besten deutschsprachigen Liebesroman 2005 ausgezeichnet. Heute lebt Kerstin Gier, Jahrgang 1966, als freie Autorin mit Mann, Sohn, zwei Katzen und drei Hühnern in einem Dorf in der Nähe von Bergisch Gladbach.
