Oh gosh I get that many may criticise it for being very basically written but as a sixteen year old myself I found it was engaging and easy to listen to throughout. The film is pretty boring in comparison and it still escapes me why they wouldn't develop the relationship between tobias and tris as much as there is in the book, and there is a lot more. Well over all I'm very very happy and can't wait to buy the rest of the series which I heard aren't as great of but I will hope anyway haha

having seen the film, i decided i needed to read the book, or in this case listen! as with all book to film conversions the book is slightly different in storyline and better. very enjoyable.

Read this after the film and liked it even more. Not just for young adults a good adult read. Enough action tension and drama to keep one hooked until the end. I am going to read the next one right away as I want to know what happens next.

I enjoyed it. An intriguing dystopian future thriller. Imagine putting the Hunger Games in a bag, shaking it up & taking it out & this is what you get. If you like the Hunger Games you'll like this too.

I love this book and the whole series, I read them when I was younger and always stuck with me.

Read them before the films were released (still made they cancelled the last film 😭😭)

First time listening to the audio book, been listening while at work and I work nights so it’s been keeping me sane!
Now on to the next one !

Loved this book as a teenager. Picked it with a credit to listen while I did housework. Still love it. The narrator has quite a relaxing voice, and a similar tone to the actress in the films.
