It was a great pleasure to read this book. It talks about amazing women all over the world and it really makes you feel an amazing and powerful solidarity to all women.

I found myself utterly immersed into these women's stories on my daily commute of an hour each way- just right to complete a chapter or so. For me, it was a very uplifting book as each chapter would finish with the achievement of each protagonist after a period of intense challenge and personal loss. From trekking across the Antarctic, to campaigning for rape kits to be tested to give 11k victims justice in one US law enforcement
department alone, to the fight for education and the right to not be abused- this weaves a fascinating, inspiring tapestry of women as fighters and leaders the world over.
