A wonderful book
I am so glad I had the chance to listen to this book especially as it is narrated by Dolly Parton herself. I have always admired her and loved her songs.Now that I now more about her and the lovely songs she sings makes the whole image complete and makes me admire he even more. She is a wonderful woman and I recommend this book to anyone who wants to find out more about this complex personality of our days.

Lovely lady with lovely stories
It’s just really enjoyable listening to Dolly Parton. As if she was singing when talking. A lovely lady with a lot of wisdom and care, and a life full of music.

Wonderful and inspiring
Such a fascinating journey through so many stories of Dolly’s life told through her songs. I’m sure reading this book would be good but you can’t beat listening to Dolly tell it her way. I absolutely loved every moment and will be listening to it again with my 9 year old daughter who loves Dolly as much as I do. I throughly recommend this joyous book about the greatest song writer there has ever been

Beautiful look into Dolly’s thoughts
I love the way this book starts with a song and then Doll’s thoughts on that song.
Her live is so interesting and she is so straight talking it is a glorious look into the mind of a strong, independent but kind and loving, fun woman. Fantastic Thankyou
