About this listen
Toney Fitzgerald stands in front of the class with a message. There's little poetry in making money, he says, and there's even less in poverty. In one hand he holds the hammer of reality and, in the other, the gauntlet of defiance.
Mixing fiction, experience and teaching, he leads them through ruthless self-examination, preparing them to break through the Bitch barrier to the richer world beyond. Eventually, they face the most serious choice of their lives; either they will make the one, unbreakable, lifelong promise that will radically change the directions of their lives or they will remain forever in a state of self-induced helplessness. Not all make it.

Where does Don't Bitch, Just Get Rich rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Having listened to hundreds of business and self-help audiobooks, Don't Bitch, Just Get Rich is one of the few I have returned to many times for great motivational content written in a very down to earth style. What was one of the most memorable moments of Don't Bitch, Just Get Rich?
For me, I really enjoyed the sections about breaking inertia and metanoia - these elements are key to really making a definite change in actions in order to achieve results. I also liked the storyline which made some of the theory a lot more palatable in comparison to other audiobooks. Additionally, the part on not giving up on an idea until you are absolutely certain you have exhausted it is something I am now working on with my business - better to explore all avenues rather than wondering 'what if'!What about Richard Aspel’s performance did you like?
The commentary fitted the content/storyline very well and made for easy and entertaining listening.Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I found parts of this book funny and overall very motivational with a great use of different characters which made the storyline feel very down to earth. I could also relate to some of the issues faced by the characters which made listening very enjoyable.Any additional comments?
The final section of the audiobook which includes a summary of the key messages for each chapter is great for a rapid reminderInspiring Read for Breaking Inertia and Succeeding
