Summary

The much-anticipated sequel to Zero G and the middle grade debut by Dan Wells.

The colonists from the Pathfinder have arrived on Kaguya, a planet with low gravity but a very dense atmosphere. It’s fun to jump around, but the air makes you loopy. Even worse than that, the heavy atmosphere means that wind storms, although rare, are absolutely devastating.

Zero and Nyx help to get everything locked down before the first big storm, but they stumble onto a group of thieves who have stolen some mining equipment. Before the kids have a chance to get away and tell anyone, the storm hits and the massive winds carry them far away. Zero and Nyx are stranded on an unknown planet with no way to communicate, being chased by thieves, and with another storm bearing down on them.

And, oh yeah, this planet has dragons.

It will take more than just good luck to get back to the colony. It’s going to take science.

Really great kids science fiction story.

This story is written and performed in a really child accessable way. The story sneaks in some genuine science facts and ideas and keeps a message of "science is cool" throughout.
Pro STEM parents should give this a go.
It is a fun adventure with our 12 and 13 year old hero's surviving on an alien world surrounded by unusual native life. Using their knowledge of science to figure out how to survive and get home, all while escaping a group of bad guys.
I really liked it and hope I can convince my 5 year-old to listen to it as I think he will like it too.
The title is a little misleading as dragons play only a very small (but not unimportant) part in the action.

Amazing

As a huge fan of the book “Zero G” I am pleasantly surprised in both the super rich story an amazing storytelling. It was slow pace so you didn’t really have to focus on just the book to understand what it was telling, but still covers a large adventure with the characters we are familiar with from the first book 11/10 I’m speechless.

It was absolutely brilliant

It was really good, the music was so dramatic and it made the story so much more exciting. The voices were well done, and the storyline itself was actually quite convincing. The setting the author uses are enthralling, and the words he uses, in my opinion, are very good. The characters are intriguing, but I feel like some of the later chapters were less good than the ones before. Overall,I would say this story is well written and I would definitely recommend this fabulous listen.
