This book was a great blessing an a source of direction and stillness when I really needed it. I repeated chapters over and over in my first read, it was so gripping and made plain revelation that had been there all along but I’d either forgotten or simply never noticed before.

I’ve since re-listened several times and will keep doing so until it becomes a part of me.

It dies exactly what it says on the tin if you will let it.

John Bevere never shirks from saying what needs to be said and this book is no exception. The narrator is very good. No over acting. No weird pronunciations as in one book I listened to. In short, No distractions. Full of helpful examples John teaches how we can achieve intimacy with God, and also why we fail to achieve intimacy with the one we are supposed to love most of all. Highly recommend. I want to listen to it again.
