About this listen

From Avatar: The Last Airbender, I'm Aang—and this is the tale of my journey through the Earth Kingdom. I traveled there with my friends Katara and Sokka to find an Earthbending teacher. I'm not sure why, but we ran into trouble almost everywhere we went. We got chased by Prince Zuko's sister, Azula, and got caught in a sinking library. Did I mention that Appa got kidnapped by Sandbenders? There were definitely some scary moments...but I can't complain about getting stuck in the Cave of Two Lovers with Katara! All in a day's work for the Avatar, right?

Not for me, although I might not be the target audience

Story: 1/5, doesn't add anything to the Avatar universe.
Performance: 3.5/5, limited by the material.
Overall: 2/5, I was expecting/hoping for some new stories that could have fit between episodes from the show, but it's just a much abridged retelling of events from the show and it adds nothing, at least for me. I can't really think of a scenario in which listening to this would be better than just rewatching the show.
My young child, on the other hand, just wants to consume all things Avatar at the moment so is quite happy to listen to this for a while before bed.
The narration is fine, although there is a slightly grating quality of an overly emotive kids TV presenter to it.
