Sometimes I found the narration a beat too fast so I had to pause to absorb what was being said.
As it's my first 'self-help' book I am amazed I understood so much as the jargon and language used is dramatically different to the other books I usually listen to.
I had read a few reviews before purchasing the book, which is something I never do but as it was a new genre to me I didn't want to waste time listening to a dud. In hindsight I agree with most of the reviews, that the first part of the book (theory) does last a little too long before going into the practise part. I was beginning to get lost in the quagmire of "theory models" and "EQ vs IQ" alliterations!
The practise section of the book wasn't as active and workshop-py as I'd hoped but I still got a lot from this book.
I chose to listen to it for personal, relationship reasons and actually ended up gaining some tips for work too which at some point will also translate to my personal relationship. So, a win-win for me!
