Understanding Sugar Adiction

What I love about this book is that it doesn't hold back. Sugar, in its many forms, often disguised, is the modern curse. It causes more early deaths than any pathogen humanity has ever faced, and its presence in our diet is entirely legal—and unbelievably profitable. Not only that, but we celebrate its role in our lives.
This book helps you understand and deal with what I’d call psychological, societal, and plain abundance factors of succumbing to sugar addiction. It then offers thoughtful strategies for overcoming these psychological pressures. For example, the line ‘Oh go on, have another! What harm can it do!’
The bottom line is that you must change your lifestyle to live longer and more healthily.

many useful tips

This book gives a clear picture of how sugar affects health, including cravings, energy levels, and digestion. I thought about my own sugar consumption and the guilt that frequently goes along with it after reading it. Sugar reduction has always felt difficult, but this book's compassionate, realistic approach and clever techniques for reducing cravings—especially for sweets—make it simpler. The replacements that have been offered are revolutionary.

great book, wish I had listened to it sooner

One of the key things mention in this book is finding ways to reward myself without contradicting my health goals. Before reading this book, I would normal celebrate a week without sugar by buying myself a bonus, this was contrary to my goal. After listening to this audiobook, I've learned so many things about how I'm low-key self sabotaging myself. Throughout my life I've lost a lot of my natural teeth to my sugar addiction and my health has suffered. This is the book, I wish I had read sooner. After listening to it, I'm implementing the practical tips and i'm actively taking immediate steps to turn my health around.

insightful Guide!

This is such a great guide on sugar consumption and what it does to the brain and body! I have been previously diagnosed as borderline pre-diabetic, believing that I was eating healthy. Turns out I was eating so many foods that contained natural or added sugars!! "End Sugar Addiction Now" really hammers it home and helps educate you on how sugar became popular and has been proven to become dangerous if consumed in large quantities over a long period of time. I also very much appreciate that the author even gives you insights on how to substitute your sugar cravings and change your eating habits to help reduce all of sugar's negative impacts on the body! This is a fantastic resource to have.

Clear Steps to Wellness

This audiobook is very forthright in its approach to getting rid of sugar addiction without being overwhelming. I especially enjoyed the balance between practical insights and encouragement; it made reducing intake of sugar doable and realistic. The emphasis on small, actionable changes stood out, helping listeners stay motivated as they work toward their goals. While there are parts that would have benefited from further explanation, overall the message is so empowering-listeners come away with an ability to take some meaningful action. Broadly, this would serve as a pretty good reference for people seeking freedom from sugar addiction and gaining mastery over their health.
