About this listen
Moving to the Wilds! Jeff's new home is on the brink of destruction. A Spire sunken into the ground, that humanity knows naught of.
Jeff's original dream of escape, living between cities and the Wilds as a Hunter, has come true. Of course, in that fantasy, he had Alrick by his side and these Hunters are definitely not him. They might actually be closer to his childhood tormentors, Leah, and her Mercenaries.
In pursuit of a way to continue to grow the Training Room and himself, conflict festers between his goblin friends Mur and Tet and his fellow humans. Still, is Hunting with his monsters out of the question? Surely his understanding of Dungeons and their strategies means he can at least try…
Little does he know that it’s his lack of knowledge that will endanger everyone and lead him to the Spire.

More Please!
I have been waiting for this! It's so great to listen to the continuation of the Basement Tribe's adventure. The story's very well-written, clever, fun, and appropriately paced. It's very interesting to see how the characters developed and discover more about the world and system. That recap was a brilliant addition and very helpful.
Andrea Parsneau and Steve Campbell were phenomenal with the narration. They're just the best!

Great book
More of a training montage, the MC and his gang are slowly but surely growing in power.
it isn't your typical tower climbing book but it is great fun. I'll be continuing on with the series.
The 20min blooper is a waste...
Mini spoiler...
Still no tower climb.

Love this series
I'm really enjoying this series, that the characters are slow to power, each increase feels earnt through training, practice and not necessarily ludicrous levels of suffering. Meanwhile there is so much foreshadowing about the main plot and hints of the greater cosmos.
Really looking forward to the next in the series.
The supporting characters are wonderful and I love the ragtag basement tribe.
I would say that my one bug bear is that I really wanted Jeff to stand up for himself more. There were just times where Veronica and others were piling blame on him with zero self awareness and I wanted him to bite back.

Oh man such a disappointment
I have all of Ryan’s book this one was a huge disappointment with unnecessary mechanic and whiny characters. It was very very very painful to listen to. Such a shame
