About this listen
From Amazon best-selling author Jenifer Ruff - a dark suspense thriller featuring a fascinating, twisted protagonist. Everett will make you wonder just how well you know your friends, neighbors, and classmates. Fans of James Patterson, Karin Slaughter, Hannibal Lecter, Dexter, and Gone Girl will be hooked.
At Everett College, perfection has a dark side....
Beautiful and brilliant Brooke, a transfer student with a mysterious past, aims to graduate first in her class at Everett and attend medical school. Her classmates and professors are captivated by her achievements and appearance. Only Jessica, a wealthy socialite fueled by prescription pills and a huge case of snobbery, senses there's something not quite right about the perfect student. What happens during a historic blizzard will settle their differences once and for all.
©2014 Jenifer Ruff (P)2018 Jenifer RuffIt’s so well written and fantastically narrated that I can’t help but give 5/5.
I initially read book 2 first as a free review copy but I don’t think I lost anything having read them out of sync.
I’m really looking forward to book 3!
So well written and narrated!

Brook is starting at a new collage and being a geek finds she would much rather study than hangout. Despite the odds she soon lands the affections of the hottest guy on campus. With the help of him and his best friend she is soon talked into putting away her books but nobody could guess the consequences of this action when a blizzard hits the school. Is it bad to be good or good to be bad?
I liked the narrator and think she does an excellent job with each of the characters from whiny to scary all are good at building up the tension.
Studying has never been so deadly
