Summary
Risk everything . . . for love with this #1 New York Times bestseller.
What if you couldn’t touch anything in the outside world? Never breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun warm your face . . . or kiss the boy next door? In Everything, Everything, Maddy is a girl who’s literally allergic to the outside world, and Olly is the boy who moves in next door . . . and becomes the greatest risk she’s ever taken.
My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.
But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He's tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.
Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.
Everything, Everything will make you laugh, cry, and feel everything in between. It's an innovative, inspiring, and heartbreakingly romantic debut novel that unfolds via vignettes, diary entries, and more.
And don’t miss Nicola Yoon's The Sun Is Also A Star, the #1 New York Times bestseller in which two teens are brought together just when it seems like the universe is sending them in opposite directions.

Great potential but flawed
The story of a girl with a life threatening illness, she can’t go outside for fear she ill die and is confounded to a life at home with her mother who is also her doctor.
When a family move in next door, Madeline becomes intrigued in their daily life and schedule paying close attention to their activities and eventually starting a conversation with the boy next door.
I really wanted to love this book, it started really nicely, I loved the relationship building via emails and texts etc and found the story easy to follow and enjoyable enough but I was so disappointed with the ending.
I won’t spoil it but I felt it was rushed or maybe just tries too hard to please.
There were a few to many flaws in the story for it to be enjoyable for me.
I settled on 3 starts as I was really enjoying the whole, meet the boy next door beginning with the sense of young love and the desire and want for more, until the point that I started asking too many questions and found it difficult to buy into.

good relaxation book
loved it. only personal preference is to have more of the male voice actor through the ollie parts. More voice actors would probably enrich the interest never the less a beautiful story even for those like me that are not fans of soppy bits.

My first audio book experience
Loved it and now excited for the film release (although, a film version is rarely as good as the book it's based on). Fell in love with the characters straight away. If there was anything i could amend, would be to hear the male voice actor more often for Olly's dialogue.

This book was amazing, as the quote says on the front of the book “ I devoured it in one sitting” I did exactly that. Highly recommended.

Love it
This story is not what I expected at all. Maddie is a girl who has lived her whole life indoors. The story is funny, relatable and heartbreaking all at once, and shows human nature and it's grasp for freedom. Must read
