Love this book
I loved this book. It's straightforward and fact-based. None of the cheesy language you find in most pregnancy books. Perfect for people - pregnant women and their partners - who want to cut through the sappy stuff and understand the whys and hows of pregnancy-related guidance.

Best pregnancy book
This has been the best pregnancy book I’ve listen! It was factual and really was honest as to what the pros and cons are of everything.
There’s graphs and math that back everything up but it’s explained in terms you can understand. I highly recommend!

I first read this book 25 years ago when my midwife suggested it. I purchased this copy for my daughter when she was expecting. What you will learn(and it's documented) will blow your theories of what an unborn child is capable of. A MUST LISTEN FOR EVERY EXPECTANT MOTHER.

Great listen
I really enjoyed this book. It's very informative, and it's a fun listen! I like that she breaks down every chapter and gives the data backing it up, then at end sums it up with a "bottom line". She also makes you feel like YOU have choices of what to do with each piece of advice.

Overall however, I liked this journal and I will probably consider getting another one for my next pregnancy unless I come across something I like better in the meantime.Very useful book. I especially like the month to month chapters of what to expect in terms of development, sleep, feeding, etc. The book includes pictures of helpful positioning and other graphics that are essential to clarify the text. If I could change something, I would want a more extensive chapter on pumping and children with special needs.

Excellent Tune
This book is excellent for giving facts-based advice! Too many books tell you WHAT without the WHY behind the recommendation. I found Clarita's experience analyzing economics data to be a perfect fit for analyzing the pregnancy studies that are out there. Love this book!

I purchased this for my daughter who is a first time mom. It helped her channel her fears and feelings about becoming a mom and helped her track all of the different changes she was experiencing during her pregnancy. It also helped with upcoming doctors appointments and what to expect or take with her.

While this book is written from a research perspective, I have used it as a gift to potential and now-pregnant wives. I think it is a must-read for them. How else can they possibly know how important the pre-natal months are to the emotional well-being of their child-to-be? How else will they know how much that pre-birth infant picks up and is affected by its mother's environment and attitudes. I've also used it as reference material for my lectures .
