Great enthralling story
I normally enjoy Adam Gold’s narration but with this series his very engaging way of speaking was a hinderance for me with my particular case of hearing loss. He uses a lot of intonation and it would be absolutely amazing if I didn’t have the hearing loss. But with mentioning this peoblem here, I just hope I can bring his attention on the volume of his speaking, to make sure if he says something with a bit more emotion, to pay attention that it doesn’t become rather silent (and thus yanking me out of the story with the repeated “rewinding” I had to do. So if you also have a hearing loss on the human-speech-frequencies, I’d be wary of this one and maybe check first if you can hear it well enough to enjoy. But other than that both narraters are Awesome and for most it will be a very pleasant experience. As for the storyline, well, I truly enjoyed it. Nice characters. In all honesty some things here and there were bit predictable for me it’s such a wonderful story that I don’t care about those bits. And there’s definitely still plot twists. There’s a lot of wit and emotion involved as well. And I also enjoyed the worldbuilding. Well worth the time spent listening to this one
