About this listen
Magic, shifters, and a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Inheriting a cottage in Ireland seems like a stroke of pure luck to Grace Connolly, as is a chance meeting with her mysterious (and hot) new neighbor. Soon, Boston’s most up-and-coming harpist finds herself mixing business with pleasure and getting to know Finn Hurley - intimately.
But all is not as it seems with the alluring man from next door, nor in the seaside village of Ballyfianna. Magic, shapeshifters, and legendary pots of gold? The surprises don’t end there - not when Grace’s family secrets come to light. Before she knows it, her mini-adventure - and sizzling romance - become a fight between good and evil.
Ruthless enemies are muscling in on Finn’s home turf, and Grace will need more than the luck of the Irish to survive. Does she dare unleash the hidden power within her - a force she’s been warned never to use?
After a decade of military service, dragon shifter Finn Hurley is finally free to track down the elusive beauty he’s secretly loved for years. When he discovers her in his hometown, it seems like destiny is smiling on him. He should have known nothing in life comes easy - especially love.
Because, Ballyfianna is no longer the peaceful, sleepy place it once was, and Grace has unwittingly become involved in its troubles. Bitter enemies from beyond its borders are plotting to seize power, while traitors are conspiring within. But they are all mere puppets to an even more treacherous enemy lurking in the background.
Can this battle-weary warrior defeat evil and finally find his happy ending?
Don't miss Anna Lowe’s Fire Maidens: Billionaires & Bodyguards series! Danger lurks over Europe, where a ruthless dragon clan plots to seize power in the grandest, most glamorous cities. The guardians of old have summoned a new generation of shifter heroes to protect the castles, cathedrals, and cobblestoned streets of their ancestral homes and to seek out the last of the Fire Maidens - women coveted by the dark lords for their royal blood. Those women are absolutely off-limits to the young warriors tasked with protecting them. But destiny, of course, has other ideas!

As always, there is the danger, excitement and steam that’s always present in Anna Lowe’s books, and the narration was excellent.
I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author, and I'm leaving a voluntary review.
This Fire Maiden is a little bit different …

When Grace's great uncle died he left her his cottage on the outskirts of the village of Ballyfianna. She returned to Ireland to try and find a tenant for the property, a traditional cottage close the ruins of Ballyfianna Castle. Almost as soon as arrived she was drawn to the castle grounds as she walks she thinks about the time she and Finn spent there as children and their shared relief that disaster was avoided that day. Over the years she has thought about Finn often, wondering if he ever thought of her? Fantasizing about the two of them together at whatever age she was at the time!
Finn, a dragon shifter, has known for years that Grace is his mate and vowed that one day he would search for her. Life choices lead him to enlist in the French Foreign Legion but after ten years his term of duty is over and he's back for a quick visit to catch up with his family. Some of his friends from the Legion have met their mates and settled down, he even helped Marco keep his mate safe in Portugal. Is now the time to search for his mate, Grace, the human girl he met so long ago?
The Guardians in Ireland are different from the Guardians we have met before, they are more laid back. His brother-in-law Eamonn, a giant elk shifter is the leader of the Irish Guardians, Finn's dragon shifter family has a longstanding alliance with the Elk clan and several of his relatives are also Guardians including his sister. Eamonn has asked Finn to stay awhile because of some troubles with the Teague wolf pack and the ever-present threat of the Lombardis
Finn takes a walk to the old castle ruins where sees a woman too close to the edge of the cliff in the exact spot Grace almost fell to her death, alas his shouts to warn the woman startle her causing her to nearly fall, when he goes to check on her he realises that it's his Grace!
Grace is a musician, she knows nothing of the shifter world or magic, but she's about to get a rude awakening when she is again in danger and Finn has to show his true self to save her. Just as she's trying to come to terms with the fact that shifters exist she has to face the biggest challenge of her life when she learns that she possesses magic! But will this be enough to save herself, to save the shifters of Ballyfianna? Will the magic of Ireland work to convince her to follow her heart? Will destiny show the girl from Boston and the boy from Ireland that home is wherever they are so long as they are together?
The narration of this book, indeed all the books in this series, is by the wonderfully talented Kelsey Osborne, she does such a great job of bringing the characters to life and making Anna's descriptions of the majestic Irish scenery even more vivid!
I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.
Can Finn and Grace Make Lasting Music Together?

Finn is a dragon shifter that finally goes home after growing issues of not having a Fire Maiden in Ireland.
Grace is from Boston and after a great uncle dies and leaves his cottage to her in Ballyfianna. This is a small beautiful village with a very close community.
When Grace comes to village she finds Finn and realises he’s the little kid she played with as a child when visiting her great uncle.
I really like that there a lot more to Grace then just one side of her heritage being possible magic.
Grace talks about both sides of her family her father is from Ireland and her mother’s from Saint Kitts.
I was wondering how the narrator was going to do this one and I was worried it could possibly be a bad Irish accent but I shouldn’t have worried.
Kelsey Osborne is a wonderful narrator, with this book is doesn’t do a accent she just narrators in her own current accent.
I would prefer this rather then doing a terrible fake accent. Absolutely love this storey but it’s definitely improved with the fantastic Kelsey Osborne narration.
Fantastic book and narration
