life changing
if you are struggling with finding your true purpose in life, this book will change your life. It is beautifully narrated by Martha Beck herself, it is incredibly helpful with exercises you can do to find your true North Star.

A light leading you back to you & your best life
Martha Beck gives us a powerful framework for understanding and navigating our own transformation. A must-read for anyone who knows they need something better in their livest but isn't sure how or where to begin. And she has wonderful sense of humour!!! One of my favourite books!!

Highly recommended growth book
From time to time you come across a book that truly resonates and for me this book hit a number of spots. Far too many to write about but at the end there was a lovely Native American proverb "when you were born you cried and the world rejoiced, live in such a way that when you die the world will cry and you will rejoice" and while I'm not sure the world will cry for me just yet ... The book has the recipe for me to get there 👍🙏

Wonderful!
This book is helping me to find some hope; a tiny spark of light for the future within the pain of acknowledging that I have been living in the dark; in the prison of 14 years of sustained and relentless psychological abuse that stole myself from me and put terror and thick, inky dread in its place.
I have felt in limbo; dissociated, dead and terrorised since I left the abuser 2 years ago. This book gives me a small ember of hope that I might emerge and live again and that hope is everything.

A book to re and re-read.
I enjoyed this, both the story and the exercises. There are many times in life when you lose sight of your North Star. Martha helps you to find your path in life......and it might suprise you!

Martha narrates really well, her ideas are pure gold, her intelligence and great sense of humour make this an inspiring listen - highly recommend especially if you’re struggling with your direction in life.
