Ajahn Chah
About this listen
Renowned for the beauty and simplicity of his teachings, Ajahn Chah was Thailand's best-known meditation teacher. His charisma and wisdom influenced many American and European seekers, and helped shape the American Vipassana community.
This collection brings together for the first time Ajahn Chah's most powerful teachings, including those on meditation, liberation from suffering, calming the mind, enlightenment and the "living dhamma". Most of these talks have previously only been available in limited, private editions and the publication of Food for the Heart, therefore, represents a momentous occasion: the hugely increased accessibility of his words and wisdom.
Western teachers such as Ram Dass and Jack Kornfield have extolled Chah's teachings for years, and now listeners can experience them directly in this book.

Superb No Nonsense Wisdom
Beautiful yet direct wisdom from a true master. I would recommend this to anyone interested in meditation and spirituality as a whole regardless of whether you are a Buddhist or not. The teachings here clearly come from a realised master who's been practicing for decades rather than another self help author pushing a regurgitated agenda

The beautiful simplicity and straightforwardness of Ajahn Chah is refreshing. This is an audiobook to return to and absorb repeatedly. Each chapter is also short and easily digestible.

Loved it!
His teachings were really good, made me smile, laughs and enlighten me. This book is must have. Not just for the followers of Buddhism but everyone that needs some enlightenment, a way out of suffering, who wishes better understanding how mind works. Like readers said you might need some other have said you might need some previous references, or it be a little complicated to fully understand his teachings. I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to read this book. Namaste

Eloquent exposition of Dhamma practice. Worth pondering over and over. Dhamma is found here and now in all situations if we carefully contemplate.
